  • Ash Wednesday schedule and Lenten activities
    Lent begins on Wednesday, Feb.10. There will be distribution of ashes at the two Masses scheduled for that day which will be at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent, which is a time for penance, fasting and prayer. Ash Wednesday starts 46 days before Easter Sunday.
      Stations of the Cross-Please join us to walk the road to Calvary with Jesus on the Fridays of Lent at 7 p.m. This is a beautiful devotion to Our Lord. Volunteers are needed to assist Father during the Stations.
    Lenten reflection series—Enrich your Lenten experience this year by joining your fellow parishioners in a Lenten reflection series. Our time spent together  will focus on the Gospels proclaimed during Lent through prayer and faith-sharing every Friday after Stations in the New Hall.  

  • Martha and Mary Ministry will help parishioners
    Do you know of someone who is homebound, in a nursing home or hospitalized and they and their family would welcome a visit or even a cooked meal?
    Providing assistance is the mission of the new Martha and Mary Ministry, which has been organized by the   parishioners for the parishioners. It serves to meet the needs of the parish and foster a sense of parish community. Please call the parish office at 724-745-3531 to  provide this information to this outreach ministry. Also call the office if you would like to help.

  • Youth Group to meet Feb. 21, Giving Eggs underway
    The Youth Group will meet at noon Sunday, Feb. 21 upstairs in Rosary Hall to plan upcoming events. They wish to thank all the parishioners who gave so  generously to the Souper Bowl collection last weekend. The group collected $1,055.00.

    The Youth Group will sponsor the Giving Easter Egg collection to benefit the Welcome Little Ones organization, beginning Feb. 13. Each egg will contain a needed item. The donations should be returned by Sunday, March 13. Your support is always appreciated.

  • Collection for Food Bank Feb. 20 & 21
    Our monthly Food Bank collection will take place at all the Masses Feb. 20 and 21. Thank you for thinking of the hungry in our area.

  • CCD News- Meeting for First Communion Parents
    Parents of children receiving their First Holy Communion this year, need to attend a mandatory meeting at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 in the church. Important information about First Reconciliation will be given to you.

  • Volunteer to Help in the Mass
    At Holy Rosary, Muse, we have volunteers participating in every Mass:
    - Eucharistic Minister – helps our administrator distribute the Body and Blood of Christ
    - Lector – recites the readings at Mass
    - Greeter – welcomes and shakes shands with parishioners and visitors to Mass
    - Usher – helps with seating and the offertory collection
    - Servers – any child in first grade and older to assist our administrator with the Mass
